[Conference] Teachers and students of our group participated in “The Chinese Materials Conference 2024 & The 2nd World Materials Conference”

Dec 29, 2024

July 9th - 12th, Professor Zhu Shengli, Associate Researcher Xu Wence, and several master's/doctoral students from the Metal Functional Materials participated in “The Chinese Materials Conference 2024 & The 2nd World Materials Conference” held in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province. This conference brings together experts and scholars in the field of materials science from all over the country, providing a good platform for promoting academic exchanges and cooperation.

At the conference, Zhu Shengli was invited to give an invitation report on the topic of "Research on the Electrocatalytic Performance of Nanoporous High Entropy Alloy Catalysts", sharing the research achievements and progress of our research group in this field in recent years. The report was easy to understand and received a warm response from the attendees. Xu Wence was invited to give an invitation report on the topic of "Nanoporous Co2P/CoOOH Electrocatalyst for Nitrate Reduction to Ammonia", introducing the innovative research of the research group in the field of electrocatalytic nitrate reduction. The report was highly praised by the attending experts and was awarded as an excellent academic report at the conference.

In addition, Dr. Li Qite, Dr. Yang Lin, and Master Wang Shaohua presented reports titled "Electrocatalytic Activity of Macro Strain Engineering Controlled Nanoporous Catalysts", "Nanoporous CuO/Cu2O Heterostructure Catalysts for Electrochemical Ammonia Oxidation Reactions", and "Effects of Mn on the Crystallization Behavior and Magnetic Properties of FeCoNiBMn High Entropy Amorphous Alloys", respectively. Through communication with other researchers, not only did they showcase their academic achievements, but they also broadened their horizons and enhanced their understanding and comprehension of the research field.

This materials conference provides a good academic exchange opportunity, promoting cooperation and connections with other universities and research institutions. We look forward to more opportunities like this in the future, so that the research results of our research group can be more widely recognized and applied.
