Akihisa Inoue
World-renowned materials scientist, member of the Japanese Academy of Bachelor's Degrees and the American Academy of Engineering.
Prof. Akihisa Inoue is one of the pioneers and founders of the research field of bulk amorphous alloys, and has long been engaged in the scientific research of amorphous metals, nano-crystalline metals, nano quasi-crystalline metals, bulk amorphous alloys, and other materials, and is ranked No. 1 in the World Ranking of Scientists for Metallurgy and Materials Science for Materials Science in the year 2021. He has published more than 3,000 SCI-indexed papers, which have been cited more than 120,000 times, and has been the first in citation rate of articles in the field of materials science in the world for 11 consecutive years (1996-2006) (ESI statistics), and has filed more than 500 patents for inventions.
